I love Evergreen Cemetery. There are so many interesting things to learn about. My favorite area is the pioneer section. Sassy

I must agree the pioneer section is one of my favorites as well or any of the older sections. There is so much history there and each tombstone is pretty unique and one of a kind. So glad the cemetery as much as you do. We need kindred spirits like you.

Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society is a 501c3 nonprofit for Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The cemetery was founded in the mid 1870's on land donated by the city's founder William Jackson Palmer. The society performs restoration and preservation projects in the historic sections of the cemetery where many of the graves date to the early 1870's.
